The inside measurements of the swing bed are 39" deep and 75" long, perfect for a twin sized mattress. A swingbed is perfect for indoor or outdoor use. Please note that neither a mattress or chains to hang the swingbed are included with this item.
The swingbed is a very large swing that is long enough for the average person to take a nap on. Our beautiful 6 ft. cypress swingbed is built with quality and pride by us and handcrafted from 100% Louisiana cypress using 1" thick and 1 3/4" wide cypress lumber, routered to remove sharp edges and sanded on all sides for your safety and comfort. The slats are screwed to the frame, not stapled, and the frame is bolted together with 5/16" bolts . The bottom of the swing is contoured with a tapering curve to the outer edge. NOTE: If you are going to put a mattress on the swingbed, you may want request that we build it without the contour in the seat, otherwise you will receive it as pictured above with the contour.
